Comfortable clothing to work out in. Boxing/Wrestling shoes or socks are required.
We have a parking lot on the side of the building.
Every piece of the class pertains to a potential self defense scenario. You will be paired with someone else of your same size and experience level. You will be using combatives (punches, kicks, elbows, etc.), striking into a pad held by your partner. Awareness, reaction and response to threats will be taught as well as important self defense techniques against chokes and grabs. All of the hour's training will culminate into realistic self defense drills.
Yes, we have students of all ages, sizes, careers, abilities,etc. with the intent of learning to protect themselves and their families. There is a zero intimidation level. Students are here to learn self defense. This is aggressive training in a safe environment.
Yes, fitness is a by product of Krav Maga training. We strengthen your entire body in order to survive a violent attack.
We recommend 2-3 times per week in order to get the techniques into your muscle memory. However, training more than this will always be more fun and more beneficial.
