Krav Maga Illinois Covid Update

JANUARY 3, 2022

In order to slow the spread of COVID-19, the City of Chicago has implemented a mandatory vaccine requirement for restaurants, gyms, and entertainment venues. Krav Maga Illinois falls under the category of gyms and is included in this mandate.

As of Monday, January 3rd, Krav Maga Illinois will require that all students be vaccinated. Per this mandate, all students and anyone entering the building for more that 10 minutes must have proof of vaccination.

The city’s mask mandate is also enforced and does require students, visitors and staff to mask up at all times while in the building.

Summer is gone, but violence is still here. Get your self defense training in at Krav Maga Illinois. We offer a free reality self defense class for adults and children ages 10-14. Learn to protect yourself and your family, while getting in the best shape of your life. Free trials are held on Monday, Wednesday at 5:30pm, Thursday at 6:30pm, Saturday at 8am and Sunday at 9am. Krav Maga Illinois is proud to offer FREE trials in our Krav Maga Reality Self Defense and Boxing classes. We get many questions on how to go about this, and what is required for the free trial. We have made it simple, by breaking it down into the attached, “KNOW BEFORE YOU GO” information sheet.

If you are interested in the Krav Maga experience, simply give us a call at 773/775-5201, to set up your free trial appointment.

You’ve booked your free trial class at Krav Maga Illinois, now what?

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO!!

Trial classes are held on Monday/Wednesday 5:30pm, Thursday 6:30pm, Saturday 8am, Sunday 9am. Call us to schedule appt.
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your class
Wear something comfortable to work out in
Bring some water
Street shoes are not allowed on the mat. Socks or wrestling/boxing shoes are appropriate
A mask is required for the duration of the class

NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY
This is a one hour adult group reality self defense class
During the class you will be paired up with someone your same size and experience level
You will learn combatives, (punches, knees, elbows, kicks, etc.) and self defense techniques, along with awareness, reaction and response training

Getting Stronger in Krav Maga Illinois KId’s Class

Krav Maga Illinois offers a self defense class for children ages 10 to 14. This class gives parents peace of mind that their child is able to defend themselves, recognize threats, stand up for themselves, and become stronger and more confident. Krav Maga Illinois children’s self defense class will teach your child how to fight back when needed. Some children have no idea how strong they really are. Once they start learning proper combatives (kicks, punches, elbows, etc.), self defense techniques, and when and how to use them, they will gain confidence in knowing that they CAN defend themselves. They DO have a voice. They WILL get home safe. Children’s self defense training at Krav Maga Illinois is more than just punching and kicking. It can be potentially life changing. All your child needs is to understand how strong they can be, and it can make a big difference in everyday life.
